How can I request a quote?

How do I make a claim?

Contact your local Elders Insurance agent. They will lodge your claim on your behalf and can manage your claim for you. You can find your local Elders Insurance agent on your Elders Insurance policy documentation. Before you make a claim, please have your policy number ready. You will need to provide information about the incident including details of any other parties involved. If your vehicle has already been towed, please let us know when lodging your claim.

How can I find out about my claim?

Your local Elders Insurance agent or claims officer can help. Please let them know your claim reference number and they will take you through the next steps.

How can I manage my policy?

Please contact your local Elders Insurance agent and they will assist you with any changes you require.

Where do I find my policy number?

You will find your policy number on the top left-hand side of your policy schedule, renewal invitation or endorsement schedule we send you.

How do I pay or renew my policy?

You can pay annually before or on the due date with cash, cheque, money order, Visa or Mastercard, or BPAY. You can also pay monthly by direct debit via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) using your bank account or credit card.

Will my policy renew automatically?

If you pay your policy monthly, it will renew automatically. If you pay annually, we’ll send you a renewal notice at least 14 days before your renewal date. Your policy will automatically lapse if it isn’t paid within 45 days. We’ll send you a reminder notice, followed by an expiry notice 14 days after it lapses.

How do I cancel my policy?

How do I find out what my policy covers?

Please refer to your PDS and policy wording. One will be sent to you when you take out your policy. It covers the terms, conditions and exclusions that apply. If you have any questions regarding your cover, please call your local Elders Insurance agent.

Can I receive my policy documentation via email?

Yes. Please let your local Elders Insurance agent know this is your preference and they will update your policy to send all future documentation to your email.

Does it cost more to pay monthly?

No, there are no extra fees or charges when you pay by monthly instalments.

Can I pay a higher excess to reduce my premium?

Yes. Please call your local Elders Insurance agent to discuss.

Is there a fee or surcharge for credit card payments?

We don’t charge any fees or a surcharge to pay by Visa or Mastercard.
