Janeane Mason, Elders Insurance agent in Corrigin (WA), prides herself on being upfront and honest with clients.
"There's no point in sugar coating things," she said during a recent interview.
One of the ways Elders Insurance agents, and Ms Mason in particular, are able to keep clients in the loop as to what is happening with their policies is by conducting in-depth farm reviews nearly every year.
Ms Mason explained exactly what this entails:
"I go out and I do a farm review with my farming clients," she said. "We sit down and run through everything that they've got, and I will remind them every year about what their policy is actually covering them for."
She then discusses any changes that have been made to the wording of their farm insurance policy since it was last reviewed. She??ll explain how these changes could affect her clients, as well as how they could make life better for them.
Ms Mason said that Elders Insurance does not often change the wording of their policies, though we have this year. That is why Ms Mason is making sure she sits down with all of her clients in Corrigin to make sure they know exactly what is going on with their insurance plans.
At the end of this yearly review, Ms Mason will sit with her clients and discuss what cover they don??t have that they could possibly use and answer any queries or concerns they might have about their policies.
This yearly review process helps ensure our clients are never left in the dark about changes that could affect what they??re covered for.
It also gives our agents and our clients the opportunity to really get to know one another, so that our clients will feel comfortable and confident that Elders Insurance has their best interests at heart.
