Elders Insurance Moora is a franchised agency which means that we own and operate our business. This enables us to employ local people, invest locally and support the local community and sporting groups.
The majority of the underwriting and claims decisions are made in our local office or onsite at our client's place of business, enabling fast and efficient turnaround.
We have a diverse mix of clients, mainly in the rural and regional small and medium enterprise sector. Our clients include various types of farming operations, commercial enterprise, manufacturing and retail businesses, tradespeople, along with tourism, hospitality and health providers.
All of our team are members of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance and comply with the Institute's Code of Ethics.
David Stribley has been with the Elders business for more than 27 years having spent time in livestock and merchandise roles in various locations around the state. In 2004, he became a General Insurance Authorised Representative in Moora.
As the business owner, David enjoys being a part of the Elders Insurance team and the integral part it plays in the local community and he believes there is no better place to live and work than in a country WA town!
His qualifications include Tier 1 ANZIC accreditation and Certificate IV in Financial Services (General Insurance). He is very involved in the community with the local football team, school, golf club and Community Resource Centre committee, believing that you get as much out of a small community as you put in to it.
When not at work,David enjoys playing golf, umpiring football and listening to Jimmy Buffett.
