Elders Insurance Sutherland is owned and managed by Peter Jamieson who is dedicated to understanding the needs and requirements of his valued customers.
From business, home and contents, landlord, farm, to travel insurance and more, Elders Insurance Sutherland has the knowledge and expertise to ensure you have the right insurance cover to protect your valuable assets.
We understand that everyone's financial situation is different, therefore, Elders Insurance offers monthly instalments at no extra cost for most insurance premiums, spreading the cost across the year and assisting with cash flow.
Peter Jamieson is the owner and licensed agent for Elders Insurance Sutherland, supporting the Cronulla Sutherland and St George Shires in NSW. Peter has been in the general insurance industry for over 25 years and has worked with all of the top three general insurers in Australia during his career.
Prior to opening his Agency with Elders Insurance, Peter spent ten years as a senior executive with QBE with general insurance exposure across all aspects of the general insurance value chain, from sales and distribution, operational management and claims. Within QBE, Peter has had management ownership across both the Direct and Intermediary channels in the Australian General Insurance market, and has managed end-to-end insurance functions across underwriting, claims, pricing, and distribution functions across personal lines, commercial and life insurance products. Additionally, Peter has managed the sales functions across both Direct and Intermediary Partnerships with major banks, airlines, travel agents, health funds, financial institutions and direct consumer and business insurance customers.
Peter has the following Insurance qualifications and accreditation; a Certificate III and IV in General Insurance ; ANZIIF, is a Tier 1 and 2 accredited in the provision of general and personal advice on General Insurance, a Senior Associate of ANZIIF and CIP ANZIIF, and is a registered Justice of the Peace ; NSW Jurisdiction.
Peter was born, educated and lives in the Sutherland Shire and is married to Tammi, with three children who are attending local schools or working with local employers in the area.
Peter has over 25 years of general insurance experience, including 11 years as an executive manager for QBE. He combines his local knowledge of the Sydney business market with his considerable experience of the insurance industry, all supported with a hands on approach to personalised service.
Peter can assist you with the handling of your general insurance needs and is Tier 1 and 2 accredited in general insurance. Peter is available to discuss your insurance needs by phone or email anytime and is happy to meet with you at your home or office.
