We recently had the opportunity to ask some of our agents why they're proud to work for Elders Insurance and what their favourite part of the job is.
Michelle Cross, Elders Insurance Mackay
Michelle Cross had a simple answer to the first question: "We love what we do."
One of the things Ms Cross loves most is being able to provide her clients with a personal service.
"Having someone local that you can do business with face-to-face is what we love and what our clients love about being with Elders Insurance," she explained.
Meeting in person allows our agents to familiarise themselves with the individual needs and situation of every client. It also makes the claims process more efficient, which means less stress and a quicker return to business as usual.
Ms Cross knows how important it is for clients to find "someone that you're comfortable sharing a pretty decent level of information with" when it comes to organising business insurance.
That's why the personal service model is so effective - it lets clients put a face to their insurance dealings, and feel more confident that their businesses are in good hands.
Craig Anning, Elders Insurance Albany
Craig Anning says that his favourite part of being an Elders Insurance agent is having the opportunity to specialise in "everything", and work with people from all walks of life.
Having the knowledge and the ability to do a bit of everything is what makes our agents so great at what they do. Whether you want information about farm liability or personal insurance, Mr Anning and his team will be able to help you out.
"That's one of the lucky things for our clients, we are so diverse," he says.
These abilities come from "learning and dealing with different clients who have different knowledge levels in different areas".
"I find it quite enjoyable," Mr Anning admits.
Whether he's dealing with property developers or investors, Mr Anning is always keen to learn from those with different strengths and utilise this knowledge in both his professional and personal life.
