Brisbane hosts Small Business Summit

11 July 2013

The NAB National Small Business Summit is being held in Brisbane from July 24 to 25.

This will be the 11th time such a Summit has been organised, and all SME owners should consider attending.

The Summit promises to be a fantastic opportunity to discuss and explore the current issues facing small businesses in Australia.

The NAB National Small Business Summit is being held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.

A number of decision makers and specialists in each field will be presenting sessions based on these subjects.

Gary Gray, minister for small business, and opposition leader Tony Abbott will also be keynote speakers.

Topics covered will include how to increase engagement with female business owners; how collaboration can lead to innovation; how SMEs can utilise new technology, the National Broadband Network (NBN) and the Cloud to increase productivity; and the financial problems associated with running a company.

One timeless problem faced by SMEs in Australia and the world over is risk management.
